A safety data sheet (SDS) is a required document that contains information for the safe handling, use, storage and disposal of potentially hazardous chemicals. Global agencies like the UN, OSHA, EPA, EU and Health Canada, require that all potentially hazardous chemicals have information on file to ensure the safety of all personnel that are involved in manufacturing, distributing, transporting and using these materials in their day-to-day operations.
SDS are stored and maintained electronically “Internal drive” or by means of paper copies “ binders”. You can:
- Sort, edit, all SDSs by product names, code Nos, synonyms, raw materials, CAS Nos, manufacturers, dangers, GHS/TDG/DOT class, etc.
- Manage and view all SDSs used in your company by country, business unit, plant, location, laboratory, floor, department, storage cabinet, etc.
- Manage rights (to add, edit, delete SDSs)per business unit, location, plant, department. Manage and customize filters, dashboard, language, PPE, settings (colors, logos, fonts) to match your corporate image and polcies.
